Kamiya Furniture Gallery was founded by Irene Setiwati Kamiya, borin and raised in Bali. Inspired by her love of home and the opportunity to bridge a 10,000 gap, Irene, with husband Jeremy, opened Kamiya Furniture Gallery as a way to share the beauty of Bali with the Triangle area and beyond.

Visit Kamiya Furniture Gallery in Booth DD9 to learn more about this company and how they can help you transform your space. See what they've got planned for their booth when you read our brief interview below.

Please describe your products.

"Fine Teak furniture from Bali, Indonesia. Reclaimed, sustainable and thoughtfully curated furnishings and accent pieces."

What are your best home decor tips this season?

"Keep it simple."

What are your featured items this season?

"We're happy to debut a first to the Triangle area, our "Glass on Teak" line of products. They are handblown, recycled glass vessels that are placed on a teak root base while the glass is still molten, conforming to the wood's natural shape. They are beautiful and perfect for vases, fish bowls, terrariums and more."

What is the strangest client request you've ever received?

"Nothing's too strange for us, including traveling 10,000 miles to track down (or design) that piece you've wanted for decades."

Is there anything else you think folks should know about your company?

"My wife is from Bali and opening our furniture store in Durham is an ode to her and the beautiful, handcrafted treasures of her home. We'd love to see you there - I promise it is like nothing you have ever seen!"
