How to Bring Summer into Your Home
Jun 21, 2018, 13:15 PM
June 21st marks the first day of summer and we want to celebrate by sharing our top tips for bringing summer into your home. Check out the simple decor changes below and welcome the warm weather and sunshine into your space.
1. Greenery
First and foremost, bring some life to your home with fresh flowers and other greenery. Summer means everything is green and full of life. Let your decor reflect this by adding some floral arrangements and potted plants to your space.
2. White Linens
Crisp white linens are the perfect way to brighten up a room. Switch out your heavy comforter for white linen blankets to help keep you cool. Pair them with some brightly coloured throw pillows and you're all set.
3. Update Your Table Settings
Say goodbye to the Christmas napkins and traditional table settings you've been holding onto since winter and dive into summer with nautical themed napkin rings and glassware. You could even use succulents and cacti as placards (as seen below) for an extra summery feel.
Adding colored straws, chic glassware, and potted plants can help transition your bar cart and make it more summer appropriate. It may also inspire you to mix up some tasty summer cocktails. Cheers!
